Multiple Intelligence and Career Preference: A Basis for Senior High School Career Guidance Orientation

This study aimed to determine the multiple intelligence and career preferences of Grade XII students Biabas Trade High School as basis for guidance orientation. The respondents are 179 grade 12 from different tracks. A descriptive survey method type research was used in conducting using an adapted test survey, checklist, modified inventory occupational interest checklist National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE). results were analyzed analysis variance Pearson r significant difference correlation respectively. showed that there is no relationship between students. implies have intelligences without any regard their preference. It observed among nine intelligences, Existential Kinesthetic strength most dominant Senior On other hand, who fall under Logical least dominant. In terms preferences, careers Interpersonal preferred ones belongs strength. Based on given result, it recommended must be disseminated all senior high school teachers, advocates, heads through conference, in-service trainings, or during LAC sessions communicate importance developing orientation
